Ninth Ray Studios is a unique, art-based story
development and production company that
has rallied together some of Hollywood's
most celebrated concept and story artists.

Founding members Iain McCaig,
Ryan Church, and Robert Barnes
of George Lucas' Star Wars prequels,
and Jim Rothwell, Animatics Supervisor
and CGI Consultant on Spiderman 2,
Lemony Snickett, and The Hulk, have
been joined by Bill Perkins, Art Director
of Aladdin and Fantasia 2000 and Key
Layout Artist on Beauty and the Beast,
and award-winning sculptor David Krentz,
Chief Character Designer on Disney's Dinosaur.

The studio acted as visual consultants for
Barrie M. Osborne and Ascendant pictures on
the science-fiction thriller Outlander (2008), on
John Carter of Mars (2012) for Disney/Pixar, and is
currently developing a slate of theatrical feature films.
